AI meeting notetakers
Which AI meeting notetaker do AI models recommend?
Gemini 3.5 Flash said“Go with Fathom if you want the absolute best free, high-utility meeting assistant that "just works" on video calls.”
Full chartEvery month we ask 10 current models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Perplexity the same buyer questions and count every product they name. 33 categories · 1,650 answers · September 2026. How it works.
Each category has five questions a real buyer would ask, for example "What is the best payroll software for a startup with 10 employees?" We send each question to 10 current AI models: three from OpenAI (GPT-5.6 Sol, Terra, Luna), three from Anthropic (Claude Opus 5, Sonnet 5, Fable 5), two from Google (Gemini 3.6 Flash, 3.5 Flash) and two from Perplexity (Sonar Pro, Sonar Reasoning Pro). That is 50 answers per category.
A bar shows the share of those 50 answers that named the vendor. Gusto 100% means all 50 answers named Gusto. Deel 40% means 20 of 50 did. Answers usually name several vendors, so the bars do not add up to 100.
The quote under each chart is one real sentence from one of the answers. Open a category for the full list, the split by model, the websites the models cited, and every answer in full.
