Subscriptions

If you subscribe, we send your email address to Resend for the Memetik Index mailing list. We also record the subscription in the private Searchmaxxed CRM sheet when that connection is available. We use your address to send the briefing. You can unsubscribe from an email or write to hello@memetik.ai.

Website analytics

Cloudflare hosts this site and may retain standard request and security logs. On every public page we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. Both set cookies (Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_ cookies; Clarity uses _clck and _clsk) to follow a visit across pages. Google Analytics measures page views, traffic sources, device information and key actions. Clarity records clicks, scrolling, page views and session recordings, plus the page addresses, device information and interactions that go with them, so we can see full journeys and improve the site. We also record key actions in both tools, such as clicking a subscribe link, starting the subscribe form and subscribing. Masking keeps form entries and sensitive text from being readable in Clarity recordings. Browser privacy settings can block the scripts.

To find out which pages and campaigns bring subscribers, your browser stores the first and last source of your visits (campaign tags in the address, ad click identifiers, the referring site and the landing page) in local storage on your device. If you subscribe, that source information is sent with your email address and saved with the subscription record in the private Searchmaxxed CRM sheet. It is not sent to Resend, Google Analytics or Clarity.

Google and Microsoft are independent controllers. Google's Privacy Policy and Microsoft's Privacy Statement explain their use of information, which can include product improvement and advertising. Microsoft's terms also allow some non-personal data to support AI model development. Data may be stored in the United States. Ordinary Clarity recordings are retained for up to 30 days; some saved recordings and heatmap data may be retained longer. We do not send subscriber email addresses to Google Analytics or Clarity.

Analytics control

Switch analytics off to stop Google Analytics and Clarity loading and sending events, remove their cookies and delete the stored source information. The choice is saved in this browser only.
