What Play.ht is
Play.ht provides an API for AI text-to-speech models. It is for developers building applications that need generated speech, including tools with streamed language-model output and phone conversations.
Users create credentials in the dashboard and install Play.ht SDKs to access the API. The API generates and streams audio from supplied text, and can accept streamed input from LLMs. It can also connect real-time audio streaming with Twilio for phone conversations.
