What Keycloak is
Keycloak is open-source identity and access management software for people creating or administering applications and services that need authentication and access management. It adds authentication to applications and helps secure services.
Users authenticate with Keycloak through single sign-on rather than separately with each application. It supports social login and authentication through existing OpenID Connect or SAML 2.0 identity providers, and can connect to LDAP or Active Directory servers or custom user stores. Its admin console manages server features, applications, services, authorisation policies, users, permissions and sessions. Keycloak supports OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0 and SAML.
