What Zed is
Zed is a code editor for developers coding with colleagues and AI. It supports shared coding through teammate chat, screen sharing and project sharing, so people can work together in the same development environment.
Written in Rust, Zed uses multiple CPU cores and the GPU. It can run agents in parallel to edit files, navigate code and run tools. It also includes debugging support through the Debug Adapter Protocol.
