What PromptLayer is
PromptLayer is software for AI teams that manage prompts, observe AI behaviour and run evaluations. It provides a shared workspace for prompt versions, labels and release state, helping teams keep track of how prompts change over time.
It captures requests, responses, metadata, cost, latency and feedback in a single timeline. Teams can organise datasets, score experiments and compare versions against real behaviour. MCP-compatible clients can also interact with workspace resources such as prompts, request logs, datasets, evaluations and workflows.
