## What Galileo is

Galileo is an AI observability and evaluation platform for enterprises and developers building AI systems. It supports teams that need to assess how their agents and other AI applications behave in development and production.

The platform builds datasets from synthetic, development and production data. It creates and tunes evaluations using live feedback, then turns those evaluations into production guardrails. Galileo also analyses agent behaviour to identify failure modes and prescribe fixes.
