## What Descope is

Descope is a customer and agentic identity platform for developers building authentication and identity journeys for external users, business customers, partners, AI agents and MCP servers.

It uses a drag-and-drop visual editor to create authentication flows. The platform supports passwordless authentication, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, authorisation and SCIM provisioning. It can federate identity across customer-facing applications, and developers can work through no-code flows, client and backend SDKs, or REST APIs.
